Estes dois formatos panorâmicos são a mesma paisagem. Comecei primeiro o menor (Quercus suber; 3H; 14; Água Doce = 16.5 x 60 cm) para estudar as cores do inverno e posteriormente aplicar na tela maior (Quercus suber; 2H; 40; Água Doce = 50 x 160 cm). Há obviamente algumas diferenças na expressão da pincelada para conseguir o conceito do movimento na maior. O processo de trabalho teve diversos momentos: 1 – Recolha de diversas imagens no lugar com câmara digital mas sem olhar pela câmara durante o disparo enquanto caminhava em paralelo à cena, com o intuito de obter algumas surpresas. 2 - Fusão de duas fotos diferentes resultantes de dois pontos de vista da mesma paisagem. 3 – No atelier comecei o desenho na tela pequena a partir das fotos fundidas. 5 – Após ter iniciado a pintura a óleo fui novamente ao local para desenhar com carvão alguns aspectos e detalhes. 6 - Depois comecei o grande formato, tendo trabalhado paralelamente em ambos.
This two panoramic formats are the same landscape. I started the smallest one first (Quercus suber; 3H; 14; Água Doce = 16,5 x 60 cm) to study this winter colors and after apply on the biggest one (Quercus suber; 2H; 40; Água Doce = 50 x 160 cm). They have obviously some differences about the brush stroke expression to achive the concept of moviment at the biggest one. The process of work had several moments: 1- Collecting several images at the place with digital camera, but not looking at the camera during the shoot, and walking in paralel at the same time, in order to have some surprises. 2- Merge two diferent photos from two diferent points of view from the same landscape. 3 - Start the drawing on the small one canvas, at the atelier. 5- Start the smallest oil painting at the same time as I went back to the local and drawing with chalkcoal some aspects and details. 6- After I started the big one before finish the smallest and working in progress on both.
